Ephedrine sympathomimetic agent. It acts as a bronchodilator and decongestant. It works by compressing the blood vessels to keep the airway passage (trachea, bronchus, and bronchioles) clear for easy breathing. This is how it works to treat symptoms of cough.
Bromhexine is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm) in the nose, windpipe, and lungs making it easier to cough out.
Chlorpheniramine Maleate is an antiallergic medication. When your body is exposed to an allergen (pollen, animal dander, house dust, etc.), it produces a chemical called histamine.
